Why cant repti-therm under tank heater be removed once stuck onto a glass tank?
Why cant repti-therm under tank heater be removed once stuck onto a glass tank?
And do i have to stick it on the bottom of tank or can i just slide it under the tank?
and if i just slide it under...what side should be touching the tank?

A repti-therm heater doesnt produce a great deal of heat so if it isnt stuck directly onto the glass your pet will not get the best benefit from the product. If you plan on sliding it underneath anyway, then you should still place it so that the adhesive side is toward the tank.
The heater can be removed after being stuck on, but its very very difficult to remove the heater without doing damage to the tiny wires inside it. Due to the nature of the heater its possible that there could be damage that would cause the unit to overheat and be a fire hazard, or make the unit overheat causing damage to your pet. It is safer to use the product as recommended.
