Damaged dvd's.....?!!!!!!!!!?

bought a used pc game and it wouldn't install [read errors]. The disk was covered with scratches so i took it back to the shop and he put it into a machine that looks similar to a desktop tower, the disk came out nice and clean with all the scratches gone, i asked him what did the machine do to the disk but i couldn't understand what he was jabbering on about cuz he wasn't english, he said something about skimming and filling the scratches with resin and the game installed successfully when i got home.....do you know what this machine did to the disk

Read articles below. The device basically cleaned the cd first then filled in the scratches and then cleaned the residue off and then some machines can seal the layer with a thin film so more damage cannot be done easily.

Sheridan is a man mountain at 6ft 4in and 19 stone and has a reputation for being able to bench press more weight than any of his fellow players. He is a current England international and has represented the prestigious British and Irish Lions.

Scrum machines are a vital training aid for Rugby Union players and are used to hone the technique of the forward pack.
