how can i figure the pitch of a roof by a photo?
I also need to figure the measurements for the dormers. The whole roof is 2,291 sf, but it has two dormers and I need to know the pitch. I lost my measuring triangle, so am trying to figure it out from photo's.
I allready told you its a 1212 pitch . You just know one when you see one . If you take a roof fafter and go down 12 " and measure straight up thats your pitch . If you go down 12 and up 6 its a 126 pitch . Pitch allways starts with a 12 .
