Parraffin heaters are bascally oil burners so they would release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere of the greenhouse which plants need to photosynthesise and produce glucose to grow. Also, by raising the temperatures up to a certain point will increase the rate of photosynthesis as enzymes will work better
