how much does a heat pump usually run for a mobile home that is 1000sft?
Hi,
My name is Adell and I was looking into getting a heat pump. How much does a heat pump usually run for a mobile home that is about 1000 sqft?
Not to give you a vague answer, but it will depend on how big the heatpump is, now extreme your weather is, where you set the thermostat, and how well insulated your mobile home is. Best way to determine cost of running it, is to ask a neighbor or someone who had one.
Heat Pump Reviews From Actual Users
Heat pump reviews from actual users. How helpful can it be for someone like you who needs the right heat pump for your home or office? More than helpful, that's the answer. Though of course: You need to know the right type of heat pump for your needs, right? You wouldn't want to buy a heat pump that doesn't provide you with the benefits you expect from a quality heat pump now, would you? Here are the different types of heat pumps, arranged in popularity, according to reviews from North American and European users:
Air Source Heat Pumps -- As its name suggests: This heat pump uses the air outside the house and funnels it into the house after the air is heated or cooled. These are quite popular among Northern American and European users, especially the electric-powered ones. There are some air source heat pumps with small ducts that can be placed around the house for optimal air conditioning effectiveness. There are gas-powered air source heat pumps, but many users claim electric-powered ones are the safest and most convenient ones to use for their homes and offices. These heat pumps are also the easiest ones to install in any home or office.
Water Source Heat Pumps -- This type of heat pump takes water from the ground via tubes inserted into the land where it stands. Most distributors of these heat pumps bundle installation services with their products. These can be quite difficult to install, especially if you don't have expertise in following detailed technical specifications and guidelines.
Geothermal Heat Pumps -- Geothermal heat pump reviews show that these are the best heat pumps in terms of its energy consumption. Though like water heat pumps, tubes and its other mechanical parts make this heat pump difficult to install. Acquiring these heat pumps most likely come bundled by installation services, though how about regular maintenance?
Rock Heat Pumps -- These heat pumps take heat from rocks below the surface of the ground. It then channels the heat to its internal system, which also uses outside air to condition the air inside the house or office. Just like water and geothermal heat pumps: Rock heat pump reviews claim these heat pumps can be difficult to install and regularly maintain.
Now you know the different types of heat pumps, here are some useful tips you can follow to select the right heat pump for your home and office:
Tip 1. Measure the dimensions of the places inside your home or office where air conditioning is most needed from a heat pump. This will allow you to list down a set of heat pumps most suitable for conditioning air inside homes and offices with similar dimensions.
Tip 2. Air heat pumps aren't recommended if you live in an area or your office is in an area with regular temperature levels dipping below 0 degrees Celsius during winter. What you need are any of the other heat pumps mentioned above.
Tip 3. Study the places outside your home or office where you can place the heat pump so it can optimally do its job. This will allow you to trim down your list of heat pumps, leaving those with specifications and sizes perfect for your home or office.
Tip 4. Ask for installation instructions from the customer support department or the distributors of the heat pumps in your list. Also ask for ways you can optimize the installation or placement of your heat pump and its ducts to properly condition the air inside your home or office. Tell them the exact measurements and dimensions of your home and office, as well as relevant details about the places where you think it'd be the most appropriate area to install the heat pump and its ducts. Try to collect heat pump reviews from other users of the heat pumps in your list so you can carefully study their comments. You may even stumble into helpful installation tips and optimization strategies for maximizing the benefits you can get from your heat pump.
