dose anybody know the id size?
i have a 1997 Nissan Maxima. the flex pipe part of the header pipe, ( Y pipe, front catalytic converter ) is rotted through and needs to be replaced. to replace the complete header pipe is well over $300 just for the part. i am looking to just replace the flex part of it. would anybody know what the id size of a stainless steel braided flex pipe would be for this job? i'm thinking it is 2 inch, but just want to make sure before i purchase the part and cut off the old one.
PLEASE, only serious knowledgeable answers. thank you
2" the flex pipe is there for a reason it gives it flex while the engine torques so as not too break the header pipe
